Dorchester Custom Cabinetry

This custom cabinetry project for the Dorchester residence in Buffalo involved the design and installation of built-in storage that combines elegance with functionality. Featuring clean lines and ample storage, these custom-built units complement the home’s architecture while blending modern sophistication and timeless charm.

Basic Project Overview

• Concept and design for the entryway which would include hidden storage, an open shelving system, and a dedicated seating area
• Fabricated and installed shaker-style cabinet fronts made of painted HDF, featuring interiors crafted from Walnut-veneered, solid core plywood.
• The cubby incorporates a discreetly switched dimmable puck light and an outlet. Below the cubby is a valence covering a radiator. 
• Custom-built shaker-style storage area featuring a matching white shaker bench and gold hardware to accent
• Custom-built open shelving storage to enhance the entryway and add visual interest through thoughtfully curated art and design elements
• Finishing details include elegant crown molding and base trim for a polished look
