Challenge: Our client purchased this property with the aim of creating an age in place home for themselves. Having the master bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor was an important part of the bathroom remodel

About this Project

Organic textures, clean lines, and a modern aesthetic unite in the luxury bathroom remodel completed in two bathrooms at the Covington Residence in Buffalo, NY. Basic Project Overview
  • Overall design concept for the master bathroom remodel features large-format marble tiles for wall cladding, dark gray floor tiles, a hidden laundry area, and a spacious walk-in shower adorned with chrome hardware
  • Installation of a curbless steam shower with glass surround
  • Design of the secondary bathroom complements the master suite, incorporating the same large-format marble tiles for wall cladding and dark gray floor tiles, along with a luxurious soaking tub featuring matching chrome hardware
  • Both bathrooms have custom-built floating vanities. The first vanity blends teak wood elements with sleek black corian surrounding the exterior. The secondary bathroom includes a dual sink vanity covered on all sides with black corian with white fronts creating a clean look
  • Custom-designed laundry area features a concealed washer and dryer, complemented by functional storage that incorporate pivoting pocket doors, pullout basket shelves and bottom drawers 
  • Integrated lighting throughout the space includes a vanity light, recessed lighting, and a shower light, ensuring a well-lit environment
